Our MAGNA Story:
Magna was established in 2019 by husband-and-wife team, Bashar and Loma. The Company quickly became a trusted subcontractor for EY and BCG in 2019 and 2020.
The pandemic interrupted growth plans, prompting its Directors to explore investment opportunities in crypto, construction, and commodities during 2021.
However, the directors found that the pandemic presented an opportunity, as global businesses were forced to adapt and change quickly to stay alive.
This naturally put Magna in the driver's seat to engage in consulting activities related to automation, process improvement, business scalability and finance transformations -- a second nature to the Director's professional background.
After receiving many business consultation requests from family, friends, and their business network, Bash and Loma decided to officially rekindle Magna and pursue their lifelong passion for consulting.
Meet the Directors
Loma started her career in EY in New York in 2006 and continued working for the big 4 risk advisory services team until 2011. After a short stint with Grant Thornton in 2012/2013, Loma served as a Chief Audit Executive for 5 years at a boutique investment bank and later a manpower company that was eventually listed with an initial market cap of USD 1 billion.
Loma transitioned into being a full-time entrepreneur since 2018 and consequently tried startups in fintech, and construction. Her current role at Magna is a culmination of all her varied previous experiences as she is immensely passionate about helping businesses grow and excel.
Bashar has 15+ years experience as a professional consultant in risk, professional governance and strategy. Bashar is able to analyse information quickly and use innovative solutions to put complex problems to bed.
During his time with EY and BCG he demonstrated consistent quality results and growth in customer revenue and satisfaction. Bashar is a crypto and commodities investor and is passionate about building generational wealth and helping more people reach those goals. Magna is his vehicle to help transform more businesses as they grow 2x or 3x in 12 months.
